Supp ?

Y’all ever notice how Snoop (yes the rapper) is faithful to his scarf ? You see how laid his hair is ? Silky Snoop does not play when it comes to his hair. Thats the attitude you should have when it comes to yours ! This brings me to my topic of the day 😏. What are you using when it comes to tying up or drying your hair? Materials matter.  As innocuous as it may seem, a regular towel can be rough on your hair (exclamation mark in spades). When your hair is wet, the hydrogen bonds in your cuticle break down and the cuticles open up. This makes your hair liable for damage and frizz. Rubbing a cotton or terry cloth towel can be damaging and soaks up all of the moisture from your strands. Luckily, there’s alternatives ! Use an old t shirt to dry your hair. It’s soft enough to not hurt your hair strands. Air drying is also a good option to use. Shake as much water out of your strands , twist/ braid in sections, then let the universe handle the rest πŸ™ƒ. If you chose to use the good ol blow dryer, try using it on the low setting. Yes, that can be a nuisance, but your hair will thank you later.  As for tying up your hair, satin or silk is best for those tresses. Questions, comments, concerns, leave em below. I can’t wait to chat with you guys 😁
